Certificate In PROJECT & ASSET Financing

Overview

Project Finance is the long-term finance of industrial and infrastructure projects based upon the projected cash flows of the project rather than the balance sheet of its sponsors. Project finance is often more complicated than alternative financing methods. It takes a variety of skills including financial, management, legal and business savviness to master this area of structured finance. Project Finance provides a framework and methodology to look at project financing as a viable financing option from both the debt and equity perspective. Participants will gain “hands-on” experience by applying the principles learned, to case studies documenting real projects.

Asset finance is a flexible alternative to a traditional bank loan, providing significant cash flow and tax benefits for businesses looking to purchase a new piece of equipment, a vehicle or other fixed assets. In an asset finance transaction the future value of the asset concerned is a key factor of the lender’s credit risk and has major implications for security and the borrowers freedom to run their business.
